Japanese scientists study space solar power

According to reports, January 24, Japanese scientists are developing how to use satellites make Solar energy generation in space.

This research is to start from 2011 in January, mainly in using the sunlight in space, through microwave conversion electric power generation to teleport to earth.

The Japan aerospace development program, mitsubishi electric corporation and Kyoto university are participated in this study.

In the study of Kyoto university, scientists are trying to simulate the outer space environment will owe current transition to microwave and to teleport to 10 yards of the place.

This experiment marks an important step in the space of Solar energy, because by sunlight intensity and cloudless weather, space solar power efficiency than earth high 10 times.

If the experiment have proved successful, scientists hope the earliest in 2016 can launch an experimental satellite system to generate electricity.
